“Let me get this straight, you lot hunted Antonio and killed him but that bitch Emillia ain’t dead yet? Okay, whatever, carry on”.
”Umm, she should be dealt with by now or at least in the process of it. That task was given to another Sternritter. We haven’t been in contact with his Majesty yet so we are unsure on the progress of that. I guess you’ve encountered her before?”

Green asks his question with true intrigue because while the Quincy know that the Arrancar invaded the Soul Society, they have no clue which Arrancar fought which person. Though it is to be expected that the Captains would engage with the Espada. The odds of meeting a Captain who faced Emillia directly is quite ironic though. The Rangers don’t know much of anything about her as their target was solely Antonio. When Jushiro commented on Green’s Spirit Weapon all he could do was give an awkward chuckle. The Captain’s brand of humor isn’t exactly Green’s taste, if Blue had a voice the two would have quite the back and forth of innuendo based jokes. When Yellow finally spoke up, which caught Green by surprise, he looked at Jushiro then to Seimei to see what his response would be.
“We’re all intrigued to hear what you have to say. You may now speak”.

There was a moment of silence as Seimei seemed to reel himself in, the other four rangers only waited to hear what he had to say but Yellow was watching his body language closely. Everything Seimei did Yellow did not like in the slightest. The sudden change in his tune from a beast waiting to be let off his chain to someone happy-go-lucky didn’t sit right with him. His compliment on liking the color yellow meant nothing to the Ranger, Seimei reeked of deceit in this exact moment. While the hand left the blade physically Seimei never truly relinquished it spiritually or mentally, he was still on guard. Yellow stood up and began approaching them.
”You’re lying. That one eighty you just pulled with your personality and demeanor reeks of bull shit. Answer the question directly and don’t dance around it because your behavior is offensive! We are extending an olive branch and you’re like a sniper in the distance with his sights trained on our heads. We haven’t-”

Red Ranger Theme

Red places a hand on Yellow’s chest to stop his advance and, in a way, stop him from talking. The only one still beyond any sort of imaginary threshold is Green, Yellow was dangerously close to crossing it as he himself was becoming hostile due to Seimei’s behavior. Red tells Yellow to calm down and go sit down, the fact that Yellow became so agitated put all the Rangers on edge because it means he sees something they don’t.
”You gotta give my friend some slack here. Yeah, we’ve observed ya, watched ya galavant through the air fightin and killin Hollows and the like, zero hesitation mind ya. So, needless to say, we kiiiinda gotta profile ya. Ya’ll do seem rather hostile from an observation standpoint and ya buddy there, Mr. Captain, ain’t helpin the allegations. Only guy we came to fight today was Antonio, I just wanna get back home and pass this burden off to his Majesty. The burden of peace talks, that is, hell, you can already tell that we can’t really say or answer much. We’re just trying to make a good first impression and play middle man for our boss, much like you.”

The leader of the Rangers finally speaks up, his way of talking is more confident and more relaxed in his manner of speaking. There is not an ounce of formality to his tone other than when addressing his Emperor, referring to him as his Majesty. While talking he signals for Green to back up and once his teammate is behind the invisible line of hostilities Red takes his place. They only want one Ranger approaching these Shinigami at a time, despite the fact the two of them are standing relatively close together.
”Yo, Ukitake-san, was it? I’m gonna tell ya this. You can’t bullshit a bullshitter and Yellow is the biggest one around, respectfully of course. If he says somethin stinks I ain’t got a reason not to believe em. So if he says you’re lyin about your aggression I got no reason to not believe em, know what I mean?”

Red speaks with a constant grin on his face, it is neither chastising or menacing, in fact, despite them only being in his presence for a short bit, they can almost tell that this is just his resting face. Teeth always showing, mouth always fixed into a smile.
”I get it, we are an unknown threat, never seen our kind before or interacted with us. Fear of the unknown and what not. So, how about we call a spade a spade. Don’t pin it on your Captain, you clearly saw that we aren’t bothered by him. Blue is just as bad if not worse so Captain Izanagi’s interaction felt rather normal for us. You probably ain’t afraid of us, I don’t really care either way. But if you put your hand on your blade…”

His tone drops to a venomous level, dripping with malice and killing intent. In a flash of red Reishi Red forms his bow and already has an arrow drawn and aimed at Seimei. That grin is still present on Red’s face.
”You better be ready to use it. Don’t flash it if you ain’t gonna draw it, get what I’m sayin?”

Both the arrow and his bow dissipate back into ambient Reishi as he lets out a laugh before looking back at Jushiro. Its clear that Red's intentions were purely educational, Jushiro should be able to perceive that. Seimei on the other hand more than likely wont be able to. For that very brief moment he may have thought his life is in danger, that this Ranger was about to attack him with an unknown weapon.
”Sorry bout that, ain’t tryin to overstep and educate your teammate like that, hahaha! But he seems young, I’m sure it's a lesson you would have taught em at some point. That being said, we should probably call it here and head back to our bosses now. Seems like Ukitake-san and Yellow ain’t mixing well today, whaddya say? Or do ya still got more questions for us?”

Red clasps his hands together politely waiting for a response. Meanwhile Green relayed to Pink that Jushiro was sorry about his comment, of course she just rolled her eyes and looked away again now that the drama had settled down. Yellow is off to the side with his arms crossed, no longer observing the two Shinigami now that Red had stepped in. He is still agitated by Seimei’s earlier aggression and attempt at trying to hide it under a rushed and what he views as a poorly constructed lie. It now seems like first contact with the Shinigami is coming to a close, what happens next for these two factions falls upon the meeting their leaders will have in ten days.

The soldier watched as she released control of the room they shared and walked across it to retrieve a tipped over chair in the wake of the aftermath. He watched her every move, the way she raised her arm, right down to the style of the way she stepped, this was normal for him, he liked to understand the entire person before him before making concrete actions. She sat in the middle of the room and then began as she explained her life story.
“I have a deep seeded fear of Hollows. It is crippling, if there is a term stronger than phobia it would have to be that. The way they howl, how they look, the hole in their bodies, it's all so… Terrifying. So, imagine my surprise when I end up in their home world or whatever you would call it. Nothing but white sand and dead trees as far as the eyes can see…” she intoned. Visibly uncomfortable, and her readings were all over the place as she went on, Han knew that this was the raw truth he was getting. “Adonai and his people, the Quincy, found me and took me home. Simple as that, no bargain, no ultimatum, nothing. Like I said, I was the one who reached out and offered to find others like me because he saved my life. So if you want to meet with him, sure, fine I’ll pass the word along and see what happens from there. As far as what he has to offer you that ain’t something I can answer because I don’t know.” she finished.

Standing up fully into her slight frame, now looking visibly grounded, she looks around once more.
“My manners are telling me I should apologize for making a mess of your little room here, but I refuse. You pissed me off. I hope you learn how to talk to people by the time you meet up with Adonai. As far as I can tell he is a nice guy, so you may have better luck with him than me.” she said.
"Hmph. Next time, leave ugly threats at the door, then maybe we can get somewhere faster." he responded in kind.

Turning on her heel, and giving a wave before sauntering out of the room.
“Let's meet up again though, under more friendly, less business related terms.” finally taking her leave.

Han stood in the room now alone, de-empowering himself from the body shield he made at a moment's notice. He sighed as he crossed his arms, thinking about what to do next. Suddenly a voice interrupts his train of thought.
“Sir, are you alright?” the assistant from earlier asked.

He knelt down and analyzed the room, traces of spiritual pressure were left by Victoria as she walked over to the window. He purses his lips from side-to-side then stands up to his full height and takes his own leave from the room. While exiting he instructs his assistant on her task.
“Clean this room up, get the science division down here and analyze the traces of spiritual power.” He began to take his leave from the doorway, but stopped just short of a step before asking another thing. “When was the last time I…went out…?” he asked, uncertainty riddled in his voice.
The assistant giggled and thought about her answer, saying, “It's been years sir. Shall I organize a table or booth somewhere? ‘Remeltindtdrinc’, perhaps?” she said coyly.

She built a career off of knowing the man intimately, today would be no different.
“Bingo. Make sure it's for tonight, and I want it to be at her main location chain.” he said as he walked off. “D.O.M., You there?” he asked aloud.
“At your request, sir.”
“Start a file, name it ‘Quincy’. Add the subfile, ‘Adonai’. Add keywords, ‘Lichtreich’, and 'medallion'. Take all footage from today's meeting and begin a deep search of all things pertaining to these words. I want a report on all the current information that we can find on the morrow. I’ll do some digging on my own.” he said decisively.
“Right away, sir. One thing I would however like to caution.”
“What?”
“What if they aren’t a threat to be monitored?”
“Everyone is a threat to be monitored, it's exactly how I became rich—by not turning a blind eye.” he said bluntly.

The Captain took some comfort in knowing that Emillia was also being hunted by the Quincy’ and the Shinigami at the same time. He’ll be able to rest a little easier once she is off the board. And on the question of whether or not Jushiro had encountered her before. The silver-haired man gave a nod to it as confirmation. Fully aware that the Espada which invaded the Seireitei over a decade ago, possessed Soul King fragments, he figured that Adonai may have deemed her a sinner. And after Antonio’s demise, he suspected that it was only a matter of time. Nothing more was said about the Espada, at least not yet. The time to revisit such a topic will come later. They now had a situation developing with Seimei.

Jushiro waited with anticipation for Seimei’s response to the questions raised. Just what was he afraid of? The masked one fell silent, adjusting his stance ever so slightly to keep tabs on Seimei’s body language. Meanwhile continuing to keep track of the Quincy quintet present. The fourth seat made his introduction which was the right way to go about things. A good way of putting in the work to defuse the situation. However, as he spoke, Jushiro couldn’t help but be surprised. It wasn’t about what Seimei said, not yet. This was more about his tone, an upbeat, merrier and jovial tone. The man seemed to be mimicking his Captain’s own approach. Something that came natural, which often leads to an effortless transition into seriousness. He pondered on how the Quincy’ may yet receive Seimei’s words.

The mask being worn by the Captain changed its current depiction, the words ‘Absolute Bullshit’ appeared on its surface, followed by hands clapping, thanking Yellow for calling it as he sees it. The Ranger may yet wonder why the Captain didn’t outrightly show support for Seimei. The truth is, if Seimei is to let go of old habits, then these are the things that needed highlighting. The emerald-eyed man had a crappy poker face so to speak. Seimei needed to become better at hiding his true feelings. Only then could he properly navigate certain spaces without suspicion. He was far too obvious. Regardless of Yellow calling him out, Jushiro remained silent, a smirk quietly manifested on the mask.

Jushiro continued to watch the interaction between all parties involved. Red stepping in to halt Yellow’s advance revealed a few more things about the Rangers. Green appeared to be the spokesperson, Yellow was constantly on overwatch and Red seems to be the one with the final say. From earlier interactions, Green was constantly seeking confirmation and approval. Red confirmed his status as leader mere moments after as the others fell back as he addressed the Shinigami. Jushiro was unmoved, listening carefully to what Red was presenting to them.

As Red continued to address them both but more so Seimei. Jushiro found himself trying to hold back on his laughter. On this occasion the mask settled on depicting a smirk. He couldn’t show too much support for what they were saying. The Captain watched Red’s display with his spirit weapon. It was amazing to see the difference between a Zanpakuto and these Reishi based weapons.

“He is young in his thinking”. Jushiro said in agreement with Red. It is something that the Captain observed not too long ago. However, there was a reason for this. “As for some of Yellowman’s questions earlier. I’m far from peaceful, I am just the right level of necessary. I suppose we can draw some similarities between ourselves. I mean, one of my subordinates described you eliminating Antonio as nothing but sport. That kind of brutality is enough to put anyone on edge, no? Young Seimei’s actions come from a form of discipline that’s not appreciated by all”.

He said while motioning towards Yellow. The man paused before continuing to add a few more caveats.

“He was trained to always be aware, ready to go just in case something pops off. Without rambling on too much, I’m currently in the process of showing him another path. However, it can be exhausting trying to get him to lighten up. I find him to be more like a virgin about to get lucky. Ready to slide in with no real build up. Ya know like, sweet words to get someone in the mood. No real tenderness to stimulate arousal, he just wants to go in dry and raw. And that ain't gonna be welcomed, which is why we had that earlier exchange. You understand what I’m tryin’ to say?”.

Jushiro is certainly one of the more unorthodox among the Shinigami. In some ways, Seimei is absolutely right to keep an eye on him. In this scenario it wasn’t about who was wrong or right, it was a matter of perspective. And Jushiro understood it from both points of view. A sigh was heard coming from the Captain as he glanced over at Seimei and then a shake of his head. The masked one chose not to highlight the Quincy obedience as it pertains to eliminating threats. They were charged with killing Antonio, a creature deemed to be a sinner by their Emperor. And that they did and Jushiro suspects that they had no qualms about enacting such violence. There are many layers to this and both parties knows this to be true. In the end, the Captain figures that it will come down to differing points of view.

“In any case, lets not dwell on things for too long and hold off on the apologies. The lil fucktard will soon learn a valuable lesson. I mean look at him, you can tell he’s still a virgin. Likely a pie wanker. In any event, I’m more interested in learning even more about Quincy culture. However, that will have to wait until next time round. Ten days it is. Next time let Blue face do the talking. And don’t worry, we’ll be able to communicate just fine”.

Even in the more serious situations the Captain found the time to inject some humour. Hopefully now they will have an accord and all that was left to do was get both the Emperor and Sotaicho in the same location. Jushiro was hoping he’ll be invited to tag along on such an occasion. After all, without him none of this would be possible, right? Yes, he will no doubt take the credit for it.
