Upon arriving in the central district, Shizukana flashed into existence and began to gaze around with a vacant stare. Crowds of people seeking shelter from the onslaught of her vice-captain had yet to stampede their way in so besides a few bustling officers trying to pick up the pieces of the latest travesty, the compound was empty. Swiftly, the captain shunpoed once more and ended up at the doorway of the chamber where prisoner’s Zanpakuto were kept while they served their sentences. A chill surely would have traveled the entirety of her body had she been conscious, for as she waded through the inches of snow in the midst of a scorching summer, there was no doubt that Shimojima had come and gone. Pink orbs scanned the scene and settled upon one space, void of the blade that once belonged to Daigo. So then, he had it, he had not only escaped the confines of his prison but he now had his hands on one of the most prolific Zanpakuto to have ever existed and he was free to do as he wished. Who would stop him? Surely not the recently deceased captain commander, certainly not the fleeing officers. So who?

"He has gone. I wonder where he will go, what his plan is...”

Although Captain Senko stood right there in the same space that she was investigating, she did not speak to him directly. This was due to the fact that she was sleeping, otherwise, the second’s captain would have been subject to a stern scolding Captain Kurayami would have normally subjected him to. Her concerns over how his involvement in the incident with Densagi would have come to light and perhaps in her anger she may have left out that she also played a monumental part in the deconstruction of the initial attempt at preventative measures. Suddenly, she felt it and it was likely that Senko did too. The spiritual power of the Kenpachi was snuffed out, nothing remained to give anyone the impression that he was still alive which had to mean that he wasn’t. It seemed that in the end, the justified rage of the scorned Shiba had proven to be too much for Otokogi and he would receive the rest he had been in need of for so many centuries. Had she been conscious, she would have felt a sense of bitter-sweet relief herself for she believed that her Lieutenant’s rampage would come to an end now that the old man was gone. Worry would have consumed her then, worry about the good man’s golden heart and worry about how he will react knowing how many he put in danger and how many his actions exterminated. Where would he go now that he was a fugitive for what he had done? What would he do, with the revenge taken, what was left? Alas, the sleeping captain slumbered away with a blank gaze fixated on Kagi. After a mildly unintelligible mumble, the woman continued to speak.

...Rocks do not make good hats…Most of the population has evacuated, to think this happened at the same time. I no longer sense Otokogi, and I do not sense the prisoner.”

Without a commander, the captains were essentially on their own and a slew of decisions to be made had been laid at their feet. It was a list of responsibilities that was now theirs to bear until any of the other captains came together to divvy the tasks out between them. With Daigo missing, to the point that neither she nor the second division captain could no longer locate him, the most pressing matter became the confrontation and imprisonment of Densagi Shiba. Now, the both of them along with the rest of the soul society had experienced the brunt of his unchained outrage not but moments before and this put exactly how difficult that could be into perspective; although he had to have exhausted most of his reserves if not half with his volatile display. There was no one left to make a decision. No one except for them.

"As much as Daigo must be persued, we aren't finished here. Densagi must be confronted."

The events all seemed to blur together. If it wasn’t for the shadows casting themselves upon his face, Budo doubted he would even know if it was day or night. The time spent healing Shinigami caught up in the Densagi situation had thankfully decreased. Instead, an empty feeling settled in Budo's chest, too exhausted to do anymore. To tired to spend any more time wallowing, despite the fact Budo could have sworn he had never used Kaidō (回道, "Turn Way") more in his life.

And yet in the moment
Budo's pain at his circumstance lessened, he would find his thoughts drifting to the woman he had met earlier. How was it possible for one woman to be so happy all the time? Maybe it was the curiosity in him but a part of Budo felt the overwhelming need to find out more. Surely someone that gleeful had some hidden secrets or ulterior motives. Or perhaps Shizukana was just an open book, heart on her sleeve, no reason to be anything other than happy. No trauma from past events or failure in the love department to make her as scarred and bitter as Budo was.

Budo sighed under his breath and went barreling past the survivors he had managed to patch up and take back to the 4th Barracks. He went searching for any strong Shinigami who could aid in the aftermath. It took no time at all until Budo found himself in the Central District with the help of Shunpo. Budo, wanting nothing more than to desperately get out of yet another annoying situation, scanned the vicinity in search of allies to do his job for him so he could take a back seat. He felt proud knowing his assistance meant less work on his Senpai's behalf but even Budo had his limits. Those last few Shunpo Steps had almost completely put his stamina reserves on nothing more than fumes.

This was when he saw them: Shizukana and Kagi, two valiant Captains in their own right. Though, one of them stood as a feint reminder of an antagonist long ago.

Though upon seeing Shizukana, Budo became completely and utterly dumbstruck. Just standing there, mouth hanging open slightly, a noise of confusion unwittingly slipping out.

Dressed in a Shihakushō (死覇装, "Death-Conquering Robe") evidently not meant for him, which fluttered to the whims of ominous wind, Budo stood at the edge of an interaction that was sure to drive some long-forgotten daggers back into his gut. And his eyes… so full of colour and yet it was like there was nothing behind them. Like a sunny winters day. Deceptively warm. A chilling bite disguised by outward beauty. Locked directly onto Shizukana.

He wasn't exactly expecting her presence to be here. Still, more than likely, she not only felt it but decided to come here to aid in investigating his barracks—the inquiry into Daigo Shimojima, whose name was mentioned during the message from the Munetoshi female. Though she was here, was she present? Kagi noticed that both eyes remained shut but not in the way when someone closed their eyes to focus, but she was asleep. Kagi soon realized this Captain's rumor that she appeared asleep but was truly awake.

Curiosity overtook his thoughts for a second as the hand itched towards his dark, hiltless blade, with his eyes facing the female Captain. But then the hand suddenly stopped before reaching the handle when he drew a blank face himself but was more confused about whether she was awake or sleeping. Could she see him? Smell him? Sensed his presence? She began to mumbled incomprehensible words that he could only make out some of them.

"Rocks....make.......hats."

Those were the words he could make out, but they did not make any sense to him and confused him. At least the rest of the sentence the Captain spoke was more coherent than she did when she first spoke. However, Kagi has long realized that Otokogi, the former Kenpachi, is no more. He died. Foolishly. But he died. In this case, Kagi and the Captain of the Fifth Division were also foolish in their own way. All three were foolish; each tried their way of handling a situation and needed to be genuinely on the same page. Yet, their action cost a life.

Nevertheless, the main foolish one in this case had been Kagi for his aggression. Many could hate him for it, but nothing within Kagi felt regretful or bad. There was nothing within him that made him second-guess his actions. At this point, his view would be 'what's done is done.' There was no point in living in the past. There had been more pressing matters, like the state of the Gotei 13 without a Captain-Commander. What shall fate hold for them now? Who will take charge as Head Commander? And.....

"WHERE IS DAIGO SHIMOJIMA!?"

Kagi's mind shouted so disdainfully for the name that it continued to repeat itself mentally over and over. It bothers him that a man who has trained all his life to hunt and track could not locate his target. It was truly frustrating. The moment he said that, the steps of the individual entered his space with some shocking expression. This young shinigami wasn't shocked at the destruction and the countless bodies he stood around, but something about the Sleeping Captain, something about her, that had him feeling this way. What exactly did he come here for?

"What is it?" his voice was irritable, yet stern and straight to the point.

Captain Senko stood there with piercing eyes at the shinigami that even he could feel the intention to kill. However, the intentions weren't towards him, the slight lust he had for the person responsible for the destruction of his barracks and the bodies that are laid all through his Division.

“I remember you!”

Suddenly, the eerie stillness of Shizukana perked to complete life as the pupils once again manifested in those gem-like pink orbs. Bounciness in her voice and in her body brought the Captain of the fifth division prancing to the side of the poorly looking young man, the brave hero who had certainly done his very best in tending to the wounded and now he was so adherent to his duty that even though he had surely used nearly all of his strength, he made it to report to some of the only remaining captains. Hurriedly, she knelt down by his side and placed her gentle hands without Budo’s express permission upon each side of his arms. At once, she activated her seasoned and powerful Kaido in an attempt to immediately re-invigorate the strength, spiritual power and overall energy of the loyal soul reaper so that he might be capable of speech once again. As she blurred by Kagi, it wasn't the same husk he had been interacting with earlier. Shizukana was alight with life and her signature cheerful personality had returned as well.

“He’s far too tired to speak, Captain Senko! Can’t you see?...”

The closer that she got, the larger and wider his perspective would have come. There was no sin in it, after all he was a man and indeed enchanted by the lady’s ethereal beauty. If perhaps his eyes happened to begin to wander…

“WOAH NOW!”

Disrupting the peaceful moment instantaneously and loudly was a stuffed animal bursting forth from her between bountiful breasts. It was a horse in design, a stallion to be precise and he looked pissed. With a deep southern drawl, the plush hooves pointed at Budo, threatening to knock him across his nose and pointed up at Shizukana’s blushing and perplexed face. Oh dear, she pondered what her fellow captain would have thought of such nonsense going on in front of him when a dire situation was still very much at hand. At the moment, there really was very little that either of them could do without further instruction from the captain commander. However, she forgot briefly that he was dead and now, with so many people including those in authority having been scattered and evacuated…there was no direction to go. Not yet at least.

“Ah..”

“ HER EYES R’ UP THERE PARTN’R!”

He snorted furiously, but one of Captain Kurayami's hands left Budo since her procedure had come to a close in order to set upon the stallion's mane which seemed to soothe the savage beast for now. After all, he'd made his point.

Budo. Budo. Budo. The Devil is not as black as he is painted.

The vicinity held its breath; sinister silence punctuated only by the symphony of imminent strife. Budo, the devilish maestro had begun orchestrating the impending ballet with spectral murmurings of his unholy essence. Anticipation unfurled in the hallowed district, threads of palpable tension and echoes of conflict ruminating in the corners of his cranium. The sector, ensnared in a spell of expectant quietude. Every heartbeat echoed like a distant timpani—each rhythmic thud a heralding of the elemental crescendo that loomed on the horizon.

Budo initiated a transformative prelude. With an ethereal grace, he surged forth—an arbiter of chaotic reckoning. His sinuous movements; an amalgamation of predatory grace and restrained ferocity, beseech the emergence of a tempest veiled in enigmatic malevolence. The air was heavythick, infused, with the fragrance of fatality vibrating in consonance with the clandestine energies converging within him—the sacred geometry of their destined clash. Time itself seems to yield, bending to the cosmic choreography of hearts beating to the rhythm of this bare-knuckle symphony.

......buuuut he fell flat on his face, exhausted.

"What is it?"

Budo thought he was hearing the haunting moans of the undead echoing in the distance, or perhaps he was simply imagining things—but it was none other than the ghostly Captain Senko, questioning the tattered-up boy moments before his exhaustion caught up to him. The voice sounded like it was lost in a haze, blaring like an alarm in Budo's ears until he ultimately blacked out.

His golden orbs found difficulty in focusing upon the first few moments of his awakening, soon fixating on the cleavage of the lady—all by mistake.

“ HER EYES R’ UP THERE PARTN’R!”

Budo jumped in sudden surprise, his body crawling back slightly. A look of mild fear plastered upon his tanned baby face. Then, his attention, like a graceful waltz, shifted to the captivating healing performance of the Fifth's Captain, Shizukana. Budo occasionally glanced at the woman from his peripherals, unable to tear his eyes away from the Captain beside himself. She was so familiar.

Admittedly, Budo found himself blindsided. He had assumed his arrival would bring conflict. Not an opportunity for them to care for a weakling. He frowned, disappointed that they thought that little of him.

It was the pale light of dusk against her shoulders that awoke Budo to Shizu's healing, the hairs on his arms standing on end under the cool glow. His body shivered, aware of every muscle within. He greeted this feeling as if it were an old friend. The night was cloudless, and there for cold. The wind swooped low, punishing the young barley shoots and whipping the trees.

"H-Huuuh?!"

It was only a short time after everything was said and done before someone who wanted more for themselves approached them. This one particular person viewed themselves as feeble. She could not stand living in a state of uselessness and approached the one person she believed could help her evolve. The former member of the Second Division returned in hopes of getting what she was searching for a better future. The Captain stared at her entire visage with emotionless eyes. Still, those very eyes were staring at someone who carried themselves with determination and conviction of wanting the urge to be stronger. But could they survive the trials ahead? Did she know what she was searching for and who she sought to ask? A man is defined by only one thing: seek and assassinate.

A little time has passed since he has taken her under him, but not to the prodigal child back to the likes of Second Division but to refine her combat ability and aspects of what it means to be a Shinigami. The dark black eyes stared directly at the flame-lit candle before him; many may not understand its purpose. The silent Captain watches the bright orange-red kindle glow as it is perfectly still. It didn't sway even an inch while he sat across from a young Munetoshi woman who should have been present this time, mimicking his movement and breathing control. His chest would slightly rise as the air was taken in through the nostrils, then slowly between his lips, which caused the chest to deflate. Both hands were mashed together, and the middle finger was down to the pinky interlock with one another. The tip of the index fingers formed a triangle, with the thumbs touching together by the tip. The entire purpose of this exercise was to meditate and focus. The hands were formed this way as a hand seal known as 'Rin' to prepare her mind for the training she requested of the Captain.

He urged her to delve deep within herself, to unearth her determination to grow stronger, her yearning to shed her feelings of weakness and uselessness. Kagi wanted to hear her words, not to convince him, but to see if she had truly embraced her conviction. Training the mind and body was a serious matter, one that Kagi did not take lightly. It required discipline to be a shinigami, but it also demanded personal growth to become a better warrior. The kind of warrior needed was one who could not only defend themselves but also fulfill their duties as a shinigami. Did Fuyuko possess the necessary qualities?

For months, Kagi had tested the First lieutenant, testing her resolve and her will to carry on the duties as a shinigami. While training her, he paired her with a member from his division, Kinko Kuchiki. He allowed them to grow and evolve as individuals and what it means to work in unison as a unit. What made them compatible is they both sought strength and power, but neither had control, which is something Kagi had allowed to grow by pushing them to their limits for months on end. They both had entered their growth as shinigami and what they did from then on was entirely up to them and how they wished to shape their future.

The soft breeze withers by as it brushes against the porcelain skin of the individual who stands at the top of the rocky edge, free of any blemishes and donning a healthy appearance, and has a smooth texture that reflects light quite handsomely yet despite the youthful look on the outside, the inside was much shrouded in dark thoughts. Scarred by the very past that created his existence today, a killing tool from the shadows. The one who lives for chaos and death, and in the last 20 months, there was nothing short of destruction and eternal sleep. The fume of anger swelled within when both objectives became unsuccessful, but the main thing that bothered him most was the man who decimated his barracks and left without a trace. It placed a bad reputation on his name as the Second Division captain. Someone who has built up a reputation from his time as the Vice Commander in chief of the Stealth Force and had been simply made a fool of by one man. No. A beast of a man that goes by the name...

"Daigo Shimojima"

The name was merely a whisper from his lips while both eyes continued to stare into the beyond with every building and barracks below his current position. The Captain's haori swayed off to the side in the same direction as the wind, slowly dancing while his entire focus had been replaying the events constantly over and over in his head. The anger that has been building and slowly increasing each passing day has made him hunger for blood. Even moreso, when one man broke many laws and killed multiple people, one of them including a Captain, his sentence came down to only being imprisoned for 2000 years in the Muken. This punishment was a joke and a spit in the face to high-ranking officers, such as himself. Despite any reason the Shiba acted out for blood, his sentence should be death. An eye for an eye, and yet 2000 years is not enough to pay his debts for the countless deaths and carnage he left behind.

While those thoughts and opinions weigh heavily, he took a peer over the right shoulder, staring at the significant tool used for executed shinigami that has severely broken the laws of the Soul Society. Kagi could be seen staring at its existence. The thick ropes were wrapped around the large pole of this oversized halberd, and they kept it upright. A fine piece of instrument was meant for people like Densagi Shiba. The Captain couldn't help but think if Densagi's sentence had been influenced by that woman, who wanted to save him so badly that she nearly put herself in harm's way just to keep him safe. Did she have any influence on C46's decision? These were all his thoughts during this long ten-month period.

Swords clashing echoed around the entire vicinity, two against one. Both were doing their best to strike their target. Apparently, both shinigami did not have the will or desire to quit, no matter how worn out they may be. Yet, the Captain was not going to stop them either.

"Clang"

"Swish"

Both tried to time their strikes one after the other, only for one sword to clash against Kagi's zanpakuto; the other would be dodged, missing him and his zanpakuto entirely and only swinging towards the air. His body would be slid backward against the gravel, creating space between himself and the Third Seat and First Lieutenant. The zanpakuto was brought to his hip, slid right into the sheath, and slid until there was a clicking sound.

"That shall be enough for today. Rest up for now."

He told them both, but he gestured for his Third seat to approach him away from the pink-haired shinigami. The words he would tell Kinko were not for her to be concerned with.

"I have matters to attend to. I understand you wish to be promoted to Lt. That is something we shall thoroughly discuss upon my return; in the meantime, do not interfere with any other division affairs. Instead, you shall only observe and report. Nothing more."

His word carried weight, as he wanted Kinko to not involve himself with anyone who wasn't their business. Kinko could tell just by the tone of his Captain's voice that there would be severe consequences if he disobeyed a direct order. Was there a reason for Kagi to have Kinko focus only on their business? Kagi is sure Kinko would question his reasoning, but if he knew any better, he would not question Kagi's intention. There was a reason for everything and a why. However, it is kept secret since the Captain keeps certain things close to the chest with reason. Kagi stared in the direction of Fuyuko as they remained emotionless, and it could not be easy to read exactly what he was thinking. For months, he trained this little birdy, but it was not without conditions, and those conditions were what he expected to be met. He soon left both of them alone, leaving the area entirely while he made his way to the Captain's meeting. What exactly would a meeting with the captains entail? A new Captain Commander? They have gone ten months without one. Have they finally decided who will take over, or would the meeting be about something else entirely? The entire chain of command tipped after the prior commander was killed, leaving the Gotei 13 to hold things together on their own.

Time has passed, but not too much time, given he was already around the area when he trained both shinigami. The Captain slowly took a stride into the compound of Central Forty-Six; his steps were silent, and his presence was unknown unless someone could see him physically. Was he first to enter? Second? Last? It did not matter to him; he would have arrived when he was ready to appear; being as it may, he had his agenda in mind and hoped they would deny what he had been after all this time, and having this meeting would ensure he had an audience with them to discuss his proposition.

Pant……pant….pant……....
Sweat dripped down Kinkō’s brow as he gripped the sword in his hand tightly. He had come a long way in 20 months. The first ten months, he trained hard with Sensei Aijo in order to unlock his bankai. The other ten months, he trained with his captain, Kagi Senko, to use the bankai.

A lot happened in the last ten of those months. Shortly after unlocking bankai, Sensei Aijo was murdered by one of the Shiba. On the other side of things, The Head Captain was slain and the 2nd division was in danger from a threat they were unprepared for. Even with all of the lost, they survived it all. Aside from the death and destruction, Kinkō became the head of the clan which meant a lot of responsibility was added to his plate.

Even still, he needed to get stronger, get faster, become a force of nature. It was because of this, he took meditation and training to another degree. He agreed to work with First Lieutenant Munetoshi per his captain request. Even though they didn’t have a great relationship earlier on. Maybe it was because he thought she lacked logical reasoning and thought with her emotions during the civil war where he expected more from someone of her caliber. That was then and this was a much different time. She and him were both in search of power to do what they couldn’t do; protect themselves and their captains.

Now in the present, Kinkō and Lieutenant Munetoshi were teaming up to fight Captain Senko. He was pretty exhausted from trying his best to break his limits on how long he could maintain his bankai. “Ah!” He dashed to attack the captain but neither him nor the first lieutenant could hit the captain.

As his captain sheathed his zanpakuto and declared that the session for the day was over, Kinkō nodded as his zanpakuto reverted from Bankai into it's sealed state. He sheathed both swords and took deep breaths.

Being beckoned over, the 3rd seat followed his captain and listened to what his leader had to say. Captain Senko brought up Kinkō's drive to become a lieutenant and spoke of how that would be discussed once the captain was back. He was also given instruction, to simply observe and report without interfering with any other squad's affairs. "Yes sir."

Now that training was over, the young head of the Kuchiki wanted to meet up with his older cousin, Shibuya. Though she didn't carry the Kuchiki last name, she was still a member of the family to him. He had spent so much time meditating and training that he had almost forgotten the reason he wanted to meet up with her. As long as it didn't come at the cost of interfering with other squads' business, he would be fine.

"HURRY UP!”

The plushie rabbit dashed around the room frantically. In one hand he clasped a white haori and in the other there were a pair of shoes. Next, a horse toy was sitting on the rising and lowering squishy chest and had begun to promptly smack a snoring Shizukana over and over again across her face. There was some spiritually enhanced power behind those punches that’d previously knocked a couple of rowdy shinigami out cold but they didn’t seem to rouse her in the least. After the events of her former vice-captain being facing the justice deemed fit for his crimes and the broken heart she suffered alongside it, the woman had become more of a recluse than she had ever been. Trays of food were left, finished, but outside where no social interactions could take place and she’d bath but that was not the worst part of her circumstances.

“WAKE UP! KANA YOU HAVE A MEETING! DANG IT WOMAN.”

Sleep. Wonderful, blissful, not-painful sleep. There were few times that the captain of the fifth division was actually awake. If she was not up late into the early hours of the next morning researching the same papers and books she had been for centuries searching for something, ANYTHING, she could have missed then she was fast asleep and not to be disturbed. Grunting, the two mod souls managed to get a very sleepy Kurayami stumbling to her feet and then directly into her open wardrobe.

“Awh Geez..”

Again, they got her to her feet and this time the two stuffies worked overtime getting her dressed Haori included. Romeo stood back with his hands on his hips as he panted, Fabio was barely standing.

“Huff, huff, huff. There! See, she looks fine.”
“Huff…Kana?”

“Mmm?...”

Suddenly, Shizukana’s eyes sprang open and she looked all around herself. Once she got her bearings she smiled apologetically at her two most trusted friends. Getting to her knees, she hugged them which gave them each the opportunity to dive into her brimming bosom. This was where they liked to travel, but she removed them and stood back up.

“I’m sorry guys, not today. I’m in a rush and this is a super top secret meeting so…can you be darlings and clean up the room a little?”

She asked this of them as she snatched up her phone and was halfway out of her door. The door closed and left the two slack jawed and slightly peeved but it made sense. Something was definitely going down for this meeting and they were pretty sure she was going to take some flack for her part in it. Not to mention she hadn’t gotten very far when it came to finding the traitors as she’d vowed or getting any closer to the mysteries of Hueco Mundo’s intentions.

Clack

The door’s close marked the disappearance of the fifth’s captain. Utilizing Shunpo, Shizukana flashed in existence at the entrance of the establishment where the collective captain's meeting would commence. By the looks of it, she wasn’t late and she would have hurried inside if it hadn’t been for a sharp beep coming from her denreishinki. Flipping its rose gold half up, she quickly scanned the message that she had gotten.

'captain kurayami.
do forgive the suddenness of these messages.
i have come upon some down time.
would you care for lunch?'

Elation surged through Captain Kurayami when she read the words and realized who the message had come from. Oh how she enjoyed spending what little time she could with the lady Shibuya and she truly wanted nothing more than to forgo this bureaucratic scolding so that she could indulge in a fine day’s lunch but…duty called.

‘Omg i want to sooooo bad :c but i gotta go to this dumb meeting! If you have time later let’s do dinner?’

Finishing this text, she’d wait until after the meeting had concluded before responding. This was out of respect for her colleagues that would soon be joining her or perhaps had already arrived. Passing through the threshold, she lifted her hand now and then because an overzealous servant or even masked members of the central 46 couldn’t hide their adoration for her and waved desiring for her to wave back; to which she did! Enthusiastically. It was like a celebrity strolling down the red carpet giving her blessings where she was able. However, it is then she spies evidence that she had not been the first to get there.

“Kagi!”

Despite the incident between Densagi, she and he…ten months had passed and she’d forgiven the transgressions that had brought about such a discouraging end. However, this meant that she was overjoyed to see the second’s captain. Simply because she was just that kind of bubbly and fun loving person.

"How are you? Goodness, how long's it been ammiright? You ready for this?"

Upon entering the corridor of Central 46, which had forty-six members, Kagi navigated his way to the meeting location. While being the first to arrive, it was unnecessary to precisely maintain a stealthy approach upon entering; there was no point. Each step was at an average pace; he wasn't rushing to reach the destination, just taking his time, as each step made was a soft tap sound down the long, dark passage. During the Captain's stroll down the narrow hallway, he left the division briefly with Kinko. It was a testament to see if he could obey his orders. It seemed simple, but it wasn't to someone who always jumped at the opportunity to be a hero. Kinko was the type of young man who had been head strong and bold. However, he is loyal to a fault and also a royalist who abides by laws and rules, so following those specific orders is to determine whether it will make or break him into something more or remain stagnant and become nothing but an old shell who only good for obeying the laws and rules and show him and to teach him how to embrace the chaos.

Kagi's thoughts were of a better future for Division 2. If this so-called meeting would give him exactly what he shall propose once more, as he did ten months ago, it would open up more opportunities to support his ability to provide a more efficient division for his plans. The dark path was no longer as he stepped into whatever the light in the next room had provided; his entire appearance had been visible at this time for everyone to see, yet they would be unable to see his eyes from their seats as they sat a bit higher to look down upon those who stand in the center of this particular room, the straw hat blocked them from seeing his eyes. He didn't say a word nor glance at any seated members hiding behind their numbers 1-46 plaques.

"Welcome, Captain Senko."

One would greet the Captain, but Kagi remains silent. He has no words, not even a greeting for any members here until the meeting officially starts. Yet, someone else had arrived shortly after and greeted him.

“Kagi!”

She came off as chipper and giddy, happy to see the Second Division's presence upon arrival despite how things went during the Shiba incident. Was this her way of saying "forgive and forget"? No, that couldn't be the case; seeing her actions against Densagi, she's a kind-hearted soul with a passion for being everyone's friend and willing to throw herself in the fire to save them. He would take a moment to think about when he found himself watching from a distance at one point or right under her nose sometime during the ten months, watching her day-to-day operations. His presence then would be, as it is right now, nonexistence. Upon seeing her face-to-face once again, many thoughts went through his head, and he wasn't sure how he would feel or think if he ever saw her. Unlike the day they both arrived at the barracks of Second Division, it was that day the feeling of anger and disappointment took over, even to the point of willingly being ready to take her life to temporarily feed his bloodlust for the person whose blood he indeed sought out but escape before his arrival.

However, he has no blood lust toward her now; he finds the Captain of Fifth fascinating. How could someone appear to be so innocent and yet have no violent bones in their bodies? At least he has never witnessed her being violent in any shape or form. What exactly makes her tick? Kagi could say he was compelled to find out personally for himself one day. It was something about this woman that he was viewing things from a different spectrum where violence wasn't always the answer, where Kagi would argue otherwise because that was all he knew. Learning her and studying her ways could give him an idea of learning balance. To understand what it means to be empathetic, something Kagi would never believe in his lifetime would be something he could understand. Yet, he quickly changes his non-existent charisma into something else at the flick of a light switch. His straw hat flipped to where it would hang behind his head; revealing his entire face to her for both eyes to see, his smile was wide, and much like she was, he was returning the same giddy composure towards her. Having this innocent look about him.

"Ah, Captain Shizukana! I'm glad to see you here! It has been what? Ten months since we last saw each other? Time flies; it still seems like everything happened only yesterday. I want to ask you, do you have any idea what this meeting will be about?"
