She is taken aback by the word “NO” forming on her Captain’s mask, despite this she was ready to make an argument against his decision. Before she could respond he explained his decision.

“To think you would barge in here after so long making such demands. Your petulance seems to know no bounds. I should punish you for being so careless with your actions. I do, however, agree that you need to get stronger and appreciate your desire for such things. As for this promotion to a seated position, you will have to work for it. Kazuki here is all about transforming regular folk from useless fodder into something worth having around.”

"Captain, you tease our subordinates too much. Furthermore, I never added useless to the word. I mean to awake fellow shinigami to the truth, not drag them through mud. But yes... Miss Kuwashii, if you wish to be rewarded a seated position, you must first provide adequate merit for such a position."

Her eagerness to fight back against his earlier declaration of “NO” shifted to excitement as she would have a chance to prove herself and honestly, that's all she ever wanted. She was smiling ear to ear and then looked to the Lieutenant, the smile dimming down a bit as the words of her Captain registered with her properly. “Transforming useless fodder into something worth having around.” She doesn’t know the Lieutenant well enough to say for certain but she feels like he isn’t the type to look at others that way. The Lieutenant’s response did clear up this misconception, it was clear any sort of sarcasm would fly over Kuwashii’s head due to her level of respect for her two commanding officers, taking everything they would say seriously.

“So you want to get stronger eh? I propose a sparring session between you and Lieutenant Kazuki. I need to see your strengths and weaknesses. Said sparring session will consist of the use of Shunpo, Kido, Hakuda and Zanjutsu techniques. I also wish to see how competent you are with your Shikai if you’ve managed to reach that level. Now then children, I’m gonna make some tea, so make your way to the training area where I’ll join you shortly. Ta ta now.”

”Sparing? Against the Lieutenant!? Thank you for the honor and chance!!”

She bows respectfully to the Captain and then turns to Kazuki, her fists clenched, a confident grin on her face and a readiness to set out to an area to spar. Before they could leave another Captain arrived, Captain Kurayami, Kuwashii hasn’t seen her since the Shiba incident, a terrible event that she was caught up in as well as the lightning from the Shiba rendered her unconscious and crash landing in the 12th Division barracks that day. She wanted to run up and hug her since she was happy to see her up and healthy but that is a Captain so all she did was bow respectfully.

”I am glad to see you well, Captain Kurayami!!”

After that her Lieutenant speaks to her once again.

"Start warming up, miss Kuwashii. I just came from a training session at the 13th division. I am still warmed up from that, I need to speak to this captain."

”Yes sir!”

She sprints off to the courtyard excited for this spar since she would be able to use her Zanpakuto to its fullest. Due to the nature of her Zanpakuto she cannot use it in the world of the living at 100%, if she needs to she has a human friend direct her to abandoned construction sites or out of city limits. But here in the Soul Society there is nothing to fear, no need to worry about destruction because they have plenty of space to fight. Not to mention everyone should be strong enough to handle her flames. Speaking of flames she took Kazuki’s words seriously as she stood in the courtyard and began to raise her Reiatsu higher and higher until white flames erupted from her feet and engulfed her body. Everyone nearby would get a brief image in their mind of a giant white star floating in the vacuum of space. The image appears fast and suddenly, similar to a jump scare but is gone just as quick. Kuwashii exhales softly as if she is finally relaxed, her body engulfed in white flames. This is her happy place.

Captain Izanagi didn’t in the slightest think Kazuki was stepping out of line with his assessment of Captain Date. Their encounter with the Captain was one that was unexpected. The masked one knew that there were Shinigami the likes of the Captain but never thought a fellow Captain would behave in such a manner. It was evident that the tenth and eleventh division had their own methods and philosophy. And in time, one of those methods will either prove more effective or more detrimental to the Seireitei itself. The Gotei were facing some uncertainties, which meant they were ripe for the picking. This is why Izanagi cannot afford not to push ahead with his plans. The masked one didn’t reply to Kazuki’s words regarding Date. At times, one simply needs to be able to say what they were thinking. Meanwhile, understanding that there was a time and place for everything.

Besides, Izanagi was more interested in receiving a detailed report of what happened between Kazuki and Taro Date. The Captain sat there in silence as Kazuki spoke, listening with intent and attentively. “Sarcasm from Kazuki? Maybe I’m the one rubbing off on him”. Jushiro thought to himself as Kazuki gave his report. It was unsurprising to Izanagi that Captain Date would find Kazuki irritating for one reason or another. The man afterall viewed others as mere cogs. And mixed within that were numerous other slurs yet to be heard.

Izanagi chucked after the mentions of Kazuki being regarded as scum and Date a god. “Seems to fit his personality very well”. The masked one thought with a grin painted across the surface of the mask. The Captain was now even more intrigued by whatever would happen next.

Upon hearing that Kazuki’s arm was torn off, the grin was wiped from the mask and replaced quickly. An arm being torn off was animated on the mask in response as Kazuki pushed himself off the beam. The animation was Izanagi’s own imagination being presented to Kazuki. However, that wasn’t the end of it, there was still so much more that needed to be said. By the end of his report, Kazuki’s words lined up with Izanagi’s own thoughts as it relates to Captain Date. At some point he will have to commend the wolf for his efforts. The masked one would have probably done something similar, albeit the situation would’ve been exasperated.

Fast Forward.

Kuwashii had made her presence known by now and Kazuki’s words about the Captain being a tease only brought about an eye roll. His Lieutenant can be so uptight at times but things seem to work just fine between them. Kuwashii was always a curious case for the Captain. She was always overly excited and yet so respectful at the same time. There was a lot of determination within her and Izanagi wanted to see how far she was willing to go. The little star, Kushwashii was also his responsibility to shape into a competent and accomplished Shinigami. As long as she is motivated to be better, he will find some way to oblige her.

In the midst of the chit chat between the trio of Izanagi, Kuwashii and Kazuki, another Reiatsu signature drew close. It was enough to cause the Captain to perk up. He was very much on his way out but was stopped in his tracks.

Kazuki seemed to think the Captain was about to vanish, which normally he would. A stranger, no, a visitor and guest was on their doorsteps. It was his Lieutenant and Kuwashii that needed to leave the room but it didn't matter now. The black mask was now blank as a sign of Izanagi’s confusion. Now fully facing the direction of the Captain that stood before him, he began to ponder.

“Captain Kurayami…”. Just when did she recover from her illness? Was she strong enough to be out and about like this just yet? In all honesty, Izanagi had forgotten about his invitation to the fifth division Captain. Everything was coming back to him now. The Captain cleared his throat and glanced over at Kazuki. “Lieutenant Kazuki, please give us a moment. I have much to discuss with Captain Kurayami”. This was Kazuki’s queue to leave and attend to Kuwashii. Izanagi will make sure to keep a close watch on their sparring session. The Captain proceeded to invite his guest into his office, pulling out another chair. “Please, make yourself comfortable, Kurayami Taicho”.

The fox grin had returned to his face showing a little bit of his excitement towards this unexpected meeting. So much so that he’d forgotten basic etiquette. “Oops, pardon me. “I’m Captain Jushiro Izanagi, it's a pleasure to finally meet you. I was in the middle of preparing tea and now that you’re also here, it may prove to be a rather auspicious meeting”. Izanagi gave Shizukana time to sit down and make herself comfortable before proceeding to serve tea. He wondered if Captain Kurayami would react in a gracious way or possibly as obnoxious as Captain Date.

“It would appear that we have quite a lot to talk about. Do you mind if we sit outside so we can observe my Lieutenant and Kuwashii chan’s sparring session? We can also catch up on a few things while we’re enjoying this wonderful brew”. Izanagi took a few strides outside to sit on the balcony overlooking the courtyard. It was peaceful, which would give them a chance to converse without prying ears. They should both have their warm beverage in hand and some snacks to go along with it. “Honestly, I had almost forgotten about what I wanted to discuss with you. But before we got into all that, how ya feeling now that you’ve seemingly recovered from your illness?”. He was curious about the Captain’s wellbeing before moving onto more pressing issues.

Just beyond the gates of the Tenth Division a man approaches, arms poised behind his back. The man, this Shinigami seemed to be moving at a snail's pace, yet his direction was certainly that of the Tenth Division. As he drew closer, it became that much easier to make him out. Was it coincidence? Some sick irony, or intentional that another Date would find themselves visiting the tenth? From the man's features he was certainly kin to the new Captain of the Eleventh Division. Had the Captain sent him here after leaving from aggravation?

The young man says nothing, does not turn his head nor does he look lost. Instead he seems almost bored, or disinterested altogether. As if making himself at home he crosses the threshold of the Tenth Division, arms still poised behind him, zanpakuto resting casually at his side. He seems to take notice of not a single soul as his feet casually carry him through their court yard towards the barracks of the Squad.

Given what had happened when Captain Date had arrived one can only begin to imagine what might very well take place with yet another member of the same clan coming there. It is only when stepping upon the wooden floors does he turn his head as though in search. One way, then the next. He pauses for but a moment before turning and proceeding onward, his destination, seemed to be the direction of the two Captains present.

Jinnosuke Yamazaki, who stood feet above the seated Tenth Division Shinigami, escorted him through the area and showed him around. He was eager to get his assignment from the Tenth Division captain, but for now, the show-and-tell of what the Tenth Division is would keep him occupied enough.

Jinnosuke wasn't the type to constantly scan his surroundings or have a plan if something went down, so it came as a surprise when a few members were overheard saying Captain Kurayami was awake from her coma and visiting the Tenth Division Captain.

The Shinigami, who was showing Jinno around, would turn to find that the giant oaf had completely and uncharacteristically disappeared. Jinnosuke was sprinting towards the 10th Captain's location, in search of the woman who saved his life as a small whelp in the Rukongai.

Finally searching out he would locate a gathering of Shinigami and without hesitation, he would lift the screen door off the rails and toss it aside to reveal Kazuki and Kuwashii about to leave from the very same, now removed door.

" None of you are Shizukana? Where she at?! Better not be hiding her from me! "

Jinnosuke Yamazaki was a blundering brute with no time for pleasantries or order, Jinno did things his way or they wouldn't get done. Jinnosuke would lift his arms up and cross them over his chest with a cheesy grin on his face.

" I don't think I know you two small fries, Names Jinno, Just got assigned to this Division, but more importantly where is my friend? "

He was naturally a few decibels louder than most normal speaking voices, and it felt as though you were being yelled at.

”I am glad to see you well, Captain Kurayami!!”

Shizukana’s soft eyes and a gentle nod of acknowledgment expressed a certain overall approval toward the tenth division’s ambitious youthful Kuwashii and were keen to continue watching her until she’d bounded off in order to prepare herself for a momentous occasion. ‘Oh, to be bright-eyed and bushy tailed once more…’ Inwardly, the cloaked woman lamented over the cacophony of time that had passed by in her life thus far and did this in the event that she’d run into one of the multitude of shining soldiers that dotted the landscape of the Soul Society. Should the Lieutenant of the tenth have had something to say to her before he hurried to his immediate task then she remained poised to respond to him but quickly lost that focus once she started to hallucinate.
The Captain of the fifth was one for reminiscence, regularly comparing the past to the present and near future but most commonly known for doting on dreams had during the night but most notably during the day. However, it was not going to do any veritable good to devolve into her usual daydreams at this junction of the current interaction; although she noticed that she was starting to feel the familiar drain of an incoming drowse even though one may have thought that she’d had enough years of sleep already.

“Captain Kurayami…”

“Mm?”

Shaking her head in order to rid her of the fleeting spell, Captain Kurayami refocused her attentions to the other Captain that she had arrived to visit with. In reality, Shizukana had absolutely no inkling as to what had gone or was going on within the Soul Society as a whole. The last bit of information that she could confidently recall was that she had been sent his invitation a rather long time ago and that she had succumb to a coma while seeking those who had caused the fifth division a devastating blow to their reputation and honor. Bringing back the traitors that had absconded to Hueco Mundo had been the woman’s top priority all the way up until the bitter bite of a voracious toxin put a stop to her crusade. This being one of the only things that could have hoped to stop the fiercely determined lady. Now that she was relatively awake, she felt disoriented and uninformed but more importantly, her presence that day was a result of her fuzzy head still very much half asleep.

This, of course, wouldn’t be something that Izanagi would have likely been able to detect as Shizukana spent most of her natural born life slumbering it away suspended in a twilight-like trance absolutely aware of what happened around her, and reacting to a juxtapose of said happenings while technically still being asleep. In fact, to anyone who was not innately close to the woman or familiar with her nuances, it’d be nearly impossible to tell the difference. Coming to the tenth division that day, Captain Kurayami had a handful of things on her mind but the most prevalent among them was finding somewhere to start investigating the relevance of this particular present that she had awoken to. What better then, to follow up with someone who had clearly desired to see her for this reason or the next? To say that Captain Izanagi’s invitation was welcome would have been quite an understatement in this regard.

" Lieutenant Kazuki, please give us a moment. I have much to discuss with Captain Kurayami. Please, make yourself comfortable, Kurayami Taicho”. Oops, pardon me, I’m Captain Jushiro Izanagi, it's a pleasure to finally meet you. I was in the middle of preparing tea and now that you’re also here, it may prove to be a rather auspicious meeting. It would appear that we have quite a lot to talk about. Do you mind if we sit outside so we can observe my Lieutenant and Kuwashii chan’s sparring session? We can also catch up on a few things while we’re enjoying this wonderful brew ”.

" It certainly does have a beautiful aroma and don’t mind if I do! It was so stuffy in that ward that I believe some fresh air would do wonders for my recovery and I do enjoy watching a fine match now and again.”

Answering his kindness and grace to suggest that they spend their time conversing outside rather than inside the confines of the Captain of the tenth’s office, Shizukana set about to glide out the balcony doors and managed to nestle herself into a comfortable pair of chairs. Her’s was the choice furthest from the doorway as she believed in maintaining a sense of decorum in any and all things. This was just one of the many peculiar things about Shizukana Kurayami. Together, they became adjoined and she listened as he went about preparing their tea for its consumption and the beginning of their overdue talk.

“Honestly, I had almost forgotten about what I wanted to discuss with you. But before we got into all that, how ya feeling now that you’ve seemingly recovered from your illness?”.

Another light hearted smile danced on Shizukana’s rosebud lips upon being asked about her health. She was very appreciative of the Captain’s inquiry and it made her genuinely happy to know that he seemed to care how she was doing. For her, fake kindness did not greet her from others as she herself was a pinnacle of generosity herself, often making sure that those around her knew that she was thinking of them too and went out of her way to provide them with help and comfort and naturally, this was reciprocated more times than not.

" Aren’t you the sweetest man? Thank you so much for showing that you care, I can’t tell you just how much it means to me. Yes, I do believe that my illness has run it’s course for the time being. For now, that’s the best that I can say but I’m relieved to have sprung back to life because it means that I can be here with you now! Surely, much has happened in the time that has transpired and I’m hoping that you can clarify your share for me.--Oh?...”

Shizukana left the cup with her tea sitting on the small table between the two of them. Its steam crept into the air and vanished in a sort of loop as the gentle breeze caressed its plume and began to organically cool it’s high temperature. While she had been glancing below to the area where she presumed the nearing spar was going to commence, Kurayami took notice that besides the tenth’s Lieutenant and the lower seat he was about to test, that they were not at all alone. While she was fading in and out of her lulling, her senses could not help but take deliberate note of the arrival of two more signatures.

The first had gained her favor because she had felt it before over a myriad of times in the course of her existence as a soul reaper in the Seireitei. Kisho Date, one portion of the illustrious and fabled Date clansmen, seemed to have made his way to the tenth division as well, although for what Shizukana hadn't the slightest idea. Earlier, she had not been privy to the interaction between Jushiro and his vice captain which had pertained to the incident between Lieutenant Kazuki and Kisho’s elder and so by right she was also oblivious to any sort of discord between the two in the same breath. Her eyes began to lid the longer that she pondered just what the approaching man could have needed. Part of her wondered if she was getting in the way of a prior commitment that Captain Izanagi had with Kisho and started to entertain the nightmare that she was being intrusive. How she hated to be rude or perceived as such, it was enough to give the Captain a spark of anxiety and anxiety made her so…sleepy…With an apprehensive sigh she permitted her quiet voice to leave her again.

“It seems that we are not alone. I do apologize if I’ve come at an inopportune time or something of that sort. Trust that I didn't mean to interrupt anything you had going on and I can always visit another time if you need to address the growing amount of company. Unless, their presence is as unprecedented to you as it is to me.”

At the first sign that she was in fact, being intrusive, she prepared to make a quick leave but for now she was content waiting to see what was going to happen.

The second signature served as an alarm that jolted her out of the ever present fog she was plagued by because she had not felt it for a substantial amount of time and because of who it belonged to. A bumbling brute to the majority but a cherished comrade to her, Jinnosuke Yamazaki appeared to have also managed to find his way to the tenth division by means of overabundant energy and overbearingly audacious actions befitting him.

" None of you are Shizukana? Where she at?! Better not be hiding her from me! "

His antics were something that permeated a grin upon her face for he made her laugh, even if he went about things in a rather unorthodox and sometimes blatantly disrespectful way. The two shared an unbreakable bond in which his very life was owed to her and she treated his devotion to her with the respect that it was deserving of. In her experience, however, as silly as he was, the rowdy man could sometimes be quite the hair-pulling problem for his higher-ups and it looked like that may have been becoming the case. Understanding why he was there was also immediately clear because his boisterously loud voice carried very far.

" I don't think I know you two small fries, Names Jinno, Just got assigned to this Division, but more importantly where is my friend? "

She had half a mind to call out to Jinnosuke, but as her eyes began to droop again she decided against it. Jushiro was his Captain if he had actually been transferred to work in the tenth division and so she would leave it up to him to be the one of them to endorse him. With her plan to do nothing in full effect, Captain Kurayami closed her pink eyes and let them rest until a time would come that she would be required to open them again.

Whether or not she would truly be awake was for anyone to guess.

”Sparing? Against the Lieutenant!? Thank you for the honor and chance!!”

Kuwashii was certainly a spit fire of energy, her enthusiasm often brightening Kazuki's day with her presence. Feeling like a older brother figure for her, proud at her ambition, as he did for the majority of his subordinates. He watched as white flames engulfed her body and she jumped around in glee, warming up to the opportunity to prove herself. Looking at her, he murmured under his breath with a slight chuckle.

"Don't get cared away, Chīsai-hi. (小さい 火- little wick/fire) One who rushes in her step is often to stumble."

The nickname spoken softly, earned by one who burned so brightly despite her small stature. His focus readjusted for the two captain's before him. That is until, his captain dismissed him to the sparring match.
“Lieutenant Kazuki, please give us a moment. I have much to discuss with Captain Kurayami”.

"Ah... of course, Captain Izanagi. I suppose I will go and spar with miss Kuwashii." Turning to Captain Kurayami, he will bow and pay his respects. "Captain Kurayami, It brings relief that you have returned to us in good health. If you still possess the time after having tea with the captain. I would like to discuss some things with you as well, if you would have me." This was his first encounter with the captain, but heard plenty about her. From old files of squad ten members to words spoken by those who knew her. Especially the fifth division, whenever he visited them during the previous year to inquire about Hueco Mundo. It was nice putting a face to the name and rumors. He didn't know what to think of her yet, but she seemed spunky, but simultaneously melancholy. Either way, Kazuki dismissed himself and headed to test the young guardian of Naruki city. The captain gave them permission to challenge her up to their shikai, which worried Kazuki slightly. Yet he trusted his judgement and agreed that it needed to be judged throughly and accordingly.

"Miss Kuwashii, let's proceed in the order Captain Izanagi has provided for us. Please demostrate your level of Shunpo. To test this, we will..."

Kazuki halted in his speech and his step, his body frozen near the door to the courtyard. As he sensed one unfamiliar presense approaching close to the gates of the tenth division. My, my has the tenth division become popular lately. He almost didn't notice it as it was slightly overshadowed by the two captain's in his presence. Prompting him to shift his reikaku from passive to focused, extending the range. Everyone becoming like blimps on a map in his mind. His training with Kuwashii with have to be briefly set aside. He moved to intercept the vistor as he slowly dissected his features. The red hair, purple eye shadow and look of superority that exuded in his every step. It was all too familiar, it reminded Kazuki of Captain Date, no it was almost a mirror image. Was it another fanboy like Yurei? No, his moves were too debelirate, a relative? Kazuki was about to speak out to him, before he felt someone rush to his side. Ripping out the door next to him and roaring enough to make him deaf in one ear.

" None of you are Shizukana? Where she at?! Better not be hiding her from me! I don't think I know you two small fries, Names Jinno, Just got assigned to this Division, but more importantly where is my friend? "

Kazuki turned his head to face the large man before him, one hand held to the ear, checking if he lost his sense of hearing. Before reconizing him as Jinnosuke Yamazaki from last weeks paperwork. Kazuki was aware that new shinigami were getting transfered to the division, yet he doesn't remember approving this one. Wait, now he remembers, despite his outward appearance and constant complaints from female shinigami. He was a capable man when it came down to it, every division needed a vanguard and Jinnosuke fit the mold perfectly. Though it would have been nice if he respected proper decorum, yet he was picked for his on field capabilites, so not much is to be expected in other aspects. What was important, was that he was loyal, dedicated and respected the higher ups, despite his casual tone and approach.

"Keep your voice down Jinnosuke, you're late. Your arrival was expected two days ago, there will be reprecautions for that. You missed crutial training sessions and it will be appreciated if you would catch up on such. Also I would ask that you address me as Lieutenant Sazanami, not small fry."

Kazuki will let his reiatsu pour out slightly to weigh down on the shinigami before him. Wolves manifesting and growling as slight fear aflicted his being. Not to hurt him, but to repremend him for such tone of disrespect and familiarity. It was not about pride, but respect. And just as quickly dismissing it, before returning to a light tone. A small grin peaking through the otherwise relaxed expression upon his face.

"Kazuki is just as good if you so prefer. As for Captain Shizukana, she is currently with Captain Izanagi. Please wait till they are done conversing as the captain requested privacy in their matters. Now come join us, Miss Kuwashii and I will spar soon, you can join us if you so wish. Though not before I will deal with our unannouced vistor, so many these days."

He will at last redirect his attention towards the Date clone approaching the location of the captains. Impeding the strangers path as Kazuki's arm rested on his zanpakuto. While still barring Jinnosuke's path to the captains. Knowing him, there was a possiblity, he would ignore Kazuki and head on up once was he disclosed Shizukana's location. Tuning out Kazuki's words at his convenience. Often to men like Jinnosuke, actions speak louder than words and his told the brute that the captains are not to be disturbed at the moment.

"Please state your name and what division you hail from as well as your purpose in our division. It will be greatly appeciated if you cooperate, my friend. Perhaps you would like some tea for your troubles? A tenth division specialty, courtesy of our captain."

Kazuki's guard was up, he expected no troubles, but one could never be too careful.

"Don't get cared away, Chīsai-hi. (小さい 火- little wick/fire) One who rushes in her step is often to stumble."
”Stars never stumble!”

She bellows confidently as she continues to let her Reiatsu flow freely for the first time in ages. She smiles from ear to ear just happy to be free without the caged restrictions of a city or Humanity limiting her. She has no ill will to humans, she loves them, loves living amongst them and learning about their history. She knows their history better than her own, sadly. Even their science is captivating to her so the cage and limitations are all in an effort to protect them from harm. When Kazuki began to approach her again she was giddy with anticipation ready to start the sparring session. She didn’t have it in her head that she would beat him, she was just excited to cut loose and have some fun with her powers. With wide eyes and ears ready to listen she hung onto every word the Lieutenant was speaking to her.
"Miss Kuwashii, let's proceed in the order Captain Izanagi has provided for us. Please demostrate your level of Shunpo. To test this, we will..."
”Right, right! My Shunpo isn’t the best right now but it is improving! I just- …Where are you going?”

Kazuki left to intercept one of the many visitors the division was having today, her once excited aura and posture vanished as her arms dropped to her sides, even the fire on her body dimmed down. She blinked a few times and looked back towards where the two Captains had gone, then towards Kazuki and this new visitor and then the sudden loud arrival of a new squadmate. She huffed and sighed, not a fan of being ignored and since she enjoys being the center of attention this was a damning blow to her ego. All these things happening, taking attention away from her, and most importantly taking away her chance to prove herself. While she may have the appearance of a teenager, and pretends to be one in the human world to blend in, she is 250 years old and old enough to know better than to throw a temper tantrum over being ignored. She’d sit down on the ground with a huff and rest her head on the palm of her hand as she sensed out the various Reiatsu signatures around her.

”Guess I am too small to be of any concern or notice when all these others are around. The one day, THE ONE DAY! I work up the courage to talk about my placement in the squad and this happens.”

She could do any number of things to get the attention of everyone, including releasing her Zanpakuto and making a ruckus with it, but she would only add to the building problems. She looks in Kazuki’s direction, sensing that he is on guard for some reason against some Shinigami who looks more like a pop star given the wavy hair and make-up. He looks like he is all business, not even the faintest hint of a smile. She is observing all of this because she is wondering what has Kazuki so worked up. Out of everything going on around her this was the most interesting thing happening. By this point all her flames have been extinguished, excitement dwindling to near non-existent as she mentally returns to her patrol mindset. Combing over minute details to make sure she doesn’t miss anything as if looking for movement or presence of a Hollow. However in this instance she was looking for signs of hostility from either person.

Appearing rather aloof with a mask of indifference worn on his face, the Date clansman quietly helps himself within the barracks grounds of the Tenth Division. He does nothing, he says nothing to disturb the Division's tasks or routines, eyes never veering one way or another in any form or hint of interest in what was transpiring around him. The loud and boisterous arrival of another Shinigami appearing to do nothing to garner his attention still.

When the oaf of a man was being addressed for his lack of decorum, the Date clansman continued on still, as it had nothing to do with him until-
"Please state your name and what division you hail from as well as your purpose in our division. It will be greatly appeciated if you cooperate, my friend. Perhaps you would like some tea for your troubles? A tenth division specialty, courtesy of our captain."

For the first time since stepping into the grounds of the Tenth Division, Kishō stops. His emerald hues drift over towards the man seeking to impede his path.

"....."

He says nothing in response to the white haired man, glancing towards the arm resting on his Zanpakutō. The moment of silence between the two was but a moment, but seemed to stretch an eternity.

"You may continue floundering about like a fish with the others. Be grateful, I do permit the delay of your groveling and praise until my business is concluded."

His eyes return forward as proceeds onward, maneuvering around and past the Lieutenant having done nothing to reveal exactly who he was, what Division he was from or why he was even there. His steps continuing to softly carry him towards the location of the Captains. While he seemed less...aggressive than Tarō, another Date clansman who had visited this same Division before, the snobbish air of self importance clung to him just as heavily. Despite not showing any form of actual hostility, one could never be sure.

Unaware of who Kishō was meant they were also ignorant of his propensity for violence, common knowledge among those of his previous three Divisions and even amongst those within his current one. Perhaps it was the good fortune of Kazuki, Kuwashii, and even the recently arrived oaf that they were not the source of
Kishō's attention at the moment. Being unimportant to his goal meant they were temporarily spared from any abuse they might have endured otherwise.

To think that the fifth division Captain would ever utter words such ‘sweetest’ in reference to the masked one brought a smile to his face. The smile behind the mask was reflected on its surface as they moved to the balcony outside. Everything seemed to have been prepared as Izanagi had intended it. Their seating, tea and snacks laid out on a small table between them. The Captain was eager to see Kuwashii's progress and determination. Everything was almost perfect. Almost. Before they could even begin to partake in the special brew, it would appear that they had visitors. Izanagi’s presence was already inviting enough, it’s his namesake afterall. The Captain’s name literally translated to ‘The Male who invites’. In addition to this, a rather stunning lady was also visiting his barracks. And one can just imagine the fanfare that was sure to follow her. Afterall, Captain Shizukana had only recently risen from her slumber. And as such many may find it incumbent upon themselves to visit her, ask questions, share their joy at her recovery.

Like Captain Shizukana, Jushiro sensed the not so familiar presence of others entering the barracks. The Captain paused for a moment while pondering the reason for the visit. Even as Captain Shizukana spoke, Jushiro remained silent for a while longer. There was so much happening all at once, it was enough to get a little riled up. The commotion outside brought a sigh of disappointment.

“Honestly, you ain't interrupting a damn thing. For now though, let us continue minding our business until we’re required not to. I must say, if they end up ruining our tea time I might end up killing someone”. The man said in response to the Captain in a casual manner while carrying a serious undertone. It is now clear to the man that they need some new security measures in place. Izanagi appeared to be unbothered by the minor infractions caused by others. Disappointingly, he had yet to even take a sip of his brew. And neither did Shizukana at this juncture, which could lead to his efforts being a waste of time. The longer it took for them to get down to business, the more irritated the Captain would become.

“In any case, It feels like you’ve been absent for ages now, I’m kinda struggling to get the order of events that’s gonna be relevant to you. For one, Central 46 nominated themselves to the leadership position, the acting commander. This is nothing more than a sign of just how weak we’ve become. I find it to be rather concerning. In addition to that, over a year ago I had an encounter with an arrancar and his words were more like a forewarning. I've been on edge ever since and can't seem to shake that feeling”.

At this point in time, Izanagi had only given snippets of what he wanted to discuss with Captain Shizukana. The more in depth version of things will follow once the commotion was no more and order was restored. The information that Izanagi wanted to pass on to the Captain was important. That much will be made obvious the more they’re left to have a discussion. His words were only for the fifth division Captain, as such his tone was only loud enough for her to hear. In the meantime, Izanagi was hoping the spar could get going sooner rather than later.

“What a severe punishment! Just for being an inconvenience… What if he brings a scent of adventure! Or mystery~”

Shizukana teased Izanagi with a wag of her finger. In truth, she was a little unnerved although her gentle smile worked hard not to betray that. She knew that the spiritual signature approaching them belonged to Kisho Date because she knew it well from having worked alongside the man in the fifth division once upon a time. Being a man who grew bored rather easily, she was sad but not surprised to see him go off onto a new journey in a new division which had been something she admired about him. She wondered if he would be pleased to see her or if he would scowl at her with his particular scowl and have something to say that would put a damper on her day? Because the Captain of the tenth stated that he had not been expecting anyone she had no choice but to believe that Kisho was there specifically to see her. She presumed he didn’t care what she was doing or what plans she had…if he had a message or some kind of bone to pick then she fully expected him to stroll in without a care about it to tell her what he had on his mind. Before she had fallen into a coma, visits were few and far between but when they came they almost always came when she wasn’t expecting it.

Waiting for the crowd to thin wasn’t going to work for Captain Kurayami. She had things to say and questions to ask of Izanagi and she did not intend on letting anymore valuable time pass her by without expressing her own important concerns that the two just might align with the other about. Discretion in the presence of Kisho clearly seeking an audience with her wasn’t on her mind at all. She had no reason to hide what she was planning on discussing with Izanagi and part of her hoped he may overhear her if he wasn’t already listening in on their current conversation. Perhaps he’d choose to put his two cents in on the matter. Usually she was always very happy to see Kisho and no bad blood existed between the two of them as far as she was aware...still the extravagance of the presence of a Date still set her nerves on fire.

“Actually, I really should ask you about this while it’s still on my mind and its been on my mind for a long time. Let’s say, hypothetically, there’s a full scale invasion of the human world from the Arrancar and Hollows. I’d like to discuss what, if any, sort of protocol you have to keep humans safe? Before I fell into my coma I distinctly recall making a plan with the former leader of the tenth division to work together and invent a solution. Given the severity of the activity in the past, all I’ve been able to think about is what they could be up to next and I wouldn’t put it past them to target to land of the living sooner than later.”

Shizukana explained her inquiry before she felt her eyes drooping and the plague of slumber approaching. She shook her head in order to keep herself awake, at the very least awake for long enough to show respect to Kisho once he made his way to the floor that they were resting on.

"Tell me, what did this Arrancar look like, and what did they say?"
