"Pant"
"Pant."
The sound of breathing had been weighing heavy on the poor black-haired shinigami before a tall-framed woman with long lavender hair with fringes in front of her forehead, large breasts, and crimson eyes. She has a styled bun on top of her head. She stood with a cynical smirk a couple of feet behind the man who had been on all four of his limbs at this time. The male shinigami's dark brown eyes glared into the rippling crimson reflection of himself.
"Are you done, Kagi dear? Are we giving up?" She said she held a zanpakuto in one hand.
"You want to learn my true power. And yet you are there looking like a poor dog. Fight me, Kagi, dear. Otherwise you will die."
The voice of Chiba sounds like someone who enjoyed punishing the shinigami who held her power the moment he awakened her Shikai all that time ago. For a long time, he wield her power, eventually mastering its abilities over time, and now he has trained and trained to unlock the next stage.
"You.....talk....too...much. Never....said....anything...about *cough cough* giving up."
The right hand gripped the hilt between the palm and the crimson pool beneath. And like that, Kagi's hip twisted clockwise while simultaneously looking to bring up the right arm into a diagonal angle, but to no avail; Chiba leaned backward from the range of Kagi's attack, toying with a battered soul. Several leaves were looking to hone in on Kagi from behind just as he turned away. There were many, as it was an extensive trail of them flying about under Chiba's control. Just as they were closing in on his location, he used his strength to flash step away from them. He appeared several feet out to the right of him, while the left arm dangled to the side as it appeared mangled and decolored. The truth is Kagi wasn't winded from the fighting alone. He dealt with worse than what he is currently facing. It was the power of Chiba, her bankai. With the left arm unusable, he felt life from his body drain from his energy as the leaves turned from crimson to grassy green.
"You left yourself open."
Her voice whispered as if her words were directly following the ear, and he felt his limbs and torso suddenly shrouded with the foliage as they each camouflaged his entire body.
Suddenly, Kagi could feel his energy being sapped away while his body was becoming more disfigured, and he fell limped onto the pool of cardinal-colored lake.
Those memories flood his thoughts while his vision only sees shinigami trading words with one another. The tension builds and builds, and Densagi continues to rage because he doesn't enjoy Oto's word "friend." Only then did Kagi realize his doubts were correct; there was no talking or diffusing the situation with mere words. Every word Kenpachi spoke agitated Densagi further, and things were about to get even worse from here.
"BAN-"
Kagi's hand was placed on the hilt of his blade because, just a few letters in those words, he knew he was about to unleash something that would signify how severe his vengeance was when it came down to attacking Kenpachi full-on. Kagi would make his move until a voice stopped him in his tracks. The phantom menace held his position as another Captain appeared, a captain he did not know much about, only that this Captain was recently promoted like he was. She demanded him....no. The female Captain requests the raging beast to stand down. Her voice came off soft, as if she did not wish to fight but to calm him down with words. At the same time, Shizukana released a spiritual effect that she relied on to affect both Densagi and Aijo. Kagi was unaware of the impact she wished to cast upon these warriors, but her attempt further aggravated the issue.
"BLEED MEIGETSU!!!"
The crimson pillar shot up toward the sky, piercing through the clouds while exuberating a red glow. There was more intensity than before; Densagi's anger swelled along with his reiatsu. Only moments later, all that power died down to his zanpakuto, which they transformed into a different weapon. His actions had been at a point of no return, and he was willing to allow his anger to influence his actions. A rabid dog that needs to be put down, words were no longer enough; it was time to act. Kagi could have acted sooner than later, but he was looking to put his trust in the man who had been the source of the angry Shiba. Kagi does not feel anything regarding the situation, but he would regret not doing anything.
The entire surrounding area was being struck down with red lightning. Kagi couldn't allow him to attack the Captains; his actions would also put the other divisions nearby at risk. But he was not aware of anything regarding his zanpakuto's power. So Kagi would have to stick to a more strategic route for the time being, and like that, Kagi was no longer at the current place before his hidden location was to be consumed by streaks of lightning. Using his mastery in speed, he managed to avoid being struck, being forced to come out of hiding now that a loud thunderous strike had been made by Densagi's doing.
The entire location had turned into a battlefield, and Kagi would look to keep a certain distance but not too far away. The scene had changed before anyone could blink for a different vantage point where both Oto and Densgai were visually smaller as Kagi's view of them had them parallel at this time. Yet, with the lightning that expanded across the field, a transparent barrier appeared directly before the black-haired Captain who appeared in his new position. The fierce power collided with the barrier and resulted in an explosion. Kagi wanted to save precious moments to determine Densagi's power. Yet he knows that cannot happen this time. The only noticeable factor was that his power was of a lightning element. At the same time, Oto used his spell to counter the lightning and overtake Densagi's raging strength. But would it be successful? He placed his faith in Oto once to allow him to end things. Kagi now plans to aid him to ensure he can snuff this foolish act into the bud. There were no words Kagi could say except one.

Quiet as Kagi had been physically and mentally, his reiatsu resonated deep inside him and was unleashed onto the surface the moment his lips recited the word. The sensation of this force was astounding, as Kagi may have been silent throughout the entire ordeal; however, the Captain's intensity spoke much louder as the sun that was present was no longer visible but eclipsed, and the ground beneath everyone's feet would be consumed and covered by a few inches of a crimson lake. A massive tree spang from underneath the ground behind the Second Division Captain. Its size did not matter; it did not take long to reach its total growth, where its length was enough to be seen by the eyes of the entire Seiretei, even the Rukongai. The tip of his tree had a rosebud that sprouted open and set free a massive amount of crimson foliage in all directions as they split into four different trails. They traveled into a spiraling dance while they motioned towards the target. Shizukana, Oto, and Nanami recently arrived to watch the events unfold. If she were smart, she would not get in the way if she knew what was good for her. Regardless, they would be safe from their wrath as the Second Divison Captain can ensure the power of his bankai will not harm them, for he can will it not touch them. Only a few know Kagi's bankai power; the only person who should be wary of its gift is the incarnate beast. They were honing in on his location, dancing through the sky in a spiraling fashion to where his entire view would be shrouded with Kagi's foliage. He may be powerful and angry, but can his power outmatch a Captain's bankai? He would find the leaves attaching themselves to every part of his body if he touched them or vice versa. The more leaves there are, the more he realizes how quickly his energy starts to fade until his skin is decomposed. Kagi wasn't born a killer, but he was built as one, an assassin he wasn't looking to kill; Densagi needed it to face the consequences of his actions. However, that doesn't mean Kagi would hold back from allowing Densagi to kill him or anyone due to his rage, even if his action had been mainly towards the man who slaughtered his family. There was no room for Kagi to feel emotions for anything or anyone; there was only action, and that is all Densagi's hatred has allowed him to do.
