Jushiro Izanagi

The invitation was sent and no doubt received by Yuto and Seimei. The sparring session will no doubt attract spectators who were all too curious to see the outcome. Would they hold their own and impress the Captain or would it end in disappointment? Regardless, Izanagi’s eyes did not leave Seimei or Yuto. After addressing them, he merely took five steps backwards. This gave him time to observe both carefully, looking for any sudden movements. Seimei wasted no time in engaging Izanagi, quick to close the gap to launch a frontal assault. Seimei’s decision to strike without allowing any time to lapse was a brave move. This was far from unexpected and even more so, Izanagi was curious to see the dynamic between Seimei and Yuto. With his senses sharp as ever, the masked one was scanning for anything that could pose a threat. Even the most subtle happenings as it pertains to Seimei and Yuto.
Seimei decided to engage with Hakuda and Yuto seemingly chose Zanjutsu. Both offer a different proposition. Seimei choosing to attack Izanagi in the way that he did prompted a swift reaction. The blonde haired man was swift and direct in his approach and even though his movements caused little disturbances. Izanagi saw through it, he was able to follow it without worry. As Seimei’s fist would appear an inch from Izanagi’s face and therefore his mask. The blonde soon realized that Izanagi’s face was no longer there. In fact, he had completely changed position. Seimei wasn’t the danger, not just yet, the current outlier was Yuto, the one choosing to ‘hang’ back and offer support. Jushiro’s timing was impeccable, as a masterfully executed Shunpo saw him appear behind Yuto. Speed, precision and effortless movements was the name of the game. Seimei and Yuto were once again in his eyeline. Wary of Yuto’s blade, he maintained a reasonable distance, but Jushiro didn’t just reappear empty handed. His own weapon was also drawn but it wasn’t a Zanpakuto. It was his demon way-firing gun, a gift from the 12th division. One that he seldom got to use but was nevertheless well versed at using it. The weapon resembles a revolver and as was explained to him a long time ago. It is only suitable for those truly skilled in Kido and Izanagi was just that; a master of the art itself. The gun is a six-shot double-action revolver with gold engraving on its grip and barrel. The frame has a triangular attachment that bears the Roman numeral XIII on both sides.
With his appearance behind Yuto, Izanagi took aim with his left hand which held the revolver and fired off a kido spell. Yuto and Seimei might have expected a blast of energy coming from the revolver but it was instead a trick shot of sorts. Izanagi opted to use a simple Bakudo spell, merely using the weapon as a further extension of himself. “Sai”. He muttered in a low tone while targeting Yuto in the first instance. The spell would see his hands locked behind his back as if being handcuffed. Izanagi used his kido mastery and refined control over his Reiryoku to turn a low level spell into a nightmare for the opponent. If the masked one proved to be successful, then Yuto could find himself at the mercy of the Captain. The revolver zig-zagged through the air swiftly completing the formation of a symbol. An almost inaudible whisper could be heard coming from Izanagi as something else was being layered.
During this time he kept a close watch on Seimei to see how he intended to confront the Captain. He could easily place himself in the firing line in an effort to interrupt Izanagi or take another approach. At first glance Seimei appear to be more impulsive, while Yuto appears to be a thinker. The Captain was curious to see how things will turn out and what new things will be discovered. Regardless, Izanagi was ready to adjust and react to new developments. As usual, Izanagi kept his senses sharp, seeking out the subtle changes in Seimei and Yuto's Reiryoku. Their breathing, movements, coordination, and behaviours were being monitored.
