Moving in silence along the rooftops, unlike most who bounced from rooftop to rooftop, all it took was a single step to miss several, if not more, rooftops. Traversing across the surface of the walls and buildings, Kagi moved like a man who did not exist, a two-dimensional silhouette flowing through every surface with nothing to block his path. Behind him, or at least they would attempt to keep up, would be an unseated member unbeknownst to even Lieutenant Kuchiki.
Kagi would have come to an abrupt stop while bleeding into view along a random wall; no word was said; he gave no reason, but he felt a presence. He felt something near his person, and some random plushie appeared before him, locking his eyes with a smile and slapping the Captain's forehead; there was no harm to this strike, but more like a child or a mosquito that smacked dead on his forehead. It was a sticker with the word "cool" on his forehead; he was slightly agitated about what purpose this served. Yet the plushie animal spoke words as if it were repeating what it was told to say.
"ATTENTION: PLEASE ALLOW THESE STICKERS TO BE PLACED ON YOU! PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THEM OFF! BY ORDER OF THE FIFTH DIVISION! PLEASE STAY CALM AND DO YOUR BEST! BEAT THE ENEMY! KNOCK 'EM DEAD!"
Poof.
The plushie disappeared as quickly as it appeared.
Kagi was puzzled, but he would give Shizukana a piece of his mind, for he knew this had to be her doing—the only person who carries those things around like a bona fide pet for the Fifth division.
Nonetheless, Kagi vanished from sight yet again, flickering from existence, while he b-line towards his division. He kept every bit of his presence hidden with his cloak, moving as if fused with the wind. His signature would be hidden due to the cloak's properties, but he does understand what the Arrancar can do due to the reports from the first encounter with the world of the living. Though the encounter wasn't something he had the privilege to experience, he familiarized himself with their abilities from the reports alone. Detailed as it may be, Kagi would face whatever they can do firsthand.
Ever since the Captain had left his visit from the First Division, he rushed over to this barracks; amid his fast movements, every encounter, every division, he could sense as if he was right there witnessing the encounters that had risen in every barracks that has been attacked and suffering from the hands of the enemy. A lot of lives have been lost left and right, and everyone has suffered, but the second division is still untouched; no one has been left dismantled or killed. Kagi had sensed one of three individuals, only one of whom he knew, who was his lieutenant. The other two were people he did not know of, but understood one was another Shinigami. The last was a hollow, foul creature who did not belong in the Soul Society, let alone the Second Division. They made a fatal mistake coming there, whether accidental or on purpose. Their existence here will soon cease to exist.

Three individuals were seen from a distance, along with the full force of the stealth force that surrounded the intruder, but nothing was happening but a conversation, so it seemed, but not for long. The visual was seen through his fast movement, which only manifested for a mere second, while quickly, the arm flung into a half arc as flying objects flew in the intruder's direction, but not directly at them. They flew unhindered with such speed and force as they were diagonally aimed at a specific spot.
"I do-"

The arrancar sentence would never have been completed as one object strikes the surface directly before the individual, close enough to hit the foot, but won't necessarily hit. The second landed a quarter inch next to the first, missing the Arrancar entirely. The sound they would hear is the sharp edge of the metal stuck into the barracks ground, leaving a small crack indicating how much strength was behind the throw itself. His intentions for throwing them are unknown, but it would seem Kagi lost his touch as if he had not had any practice.
Yet, even if they were to gaze in the direction from where it had been thrown, the Captain would not even be there as if some ghost itself was haunting the area, just throwing a tantrum, throwing objects to distract and cause fear. They threw the objects in question. Only those familiar with the tool could identify who they belonged to.
Kagi himself was a mere shadow; there was no reiatsu to be felt, not even a single heartbeat that could be heard or the sound of a footstep to be noticed; not even his presence would alert anything or anyone.
All there was the right arm drawing itself from underneath the cloak; along the arm had veins bulging through his tight clothing. Kagi's eyes focused on the task at hand, and his brow furrowed while his motion was swift and refined. Everything he prepped and built for was when the objects were thrown, and led up to the arm flinging outwards. The hand was tightened around the fabric while pulling out from his sash, wasting not a second, as the space between him and what was in front of him, the back of the individual who had yet to see Kagi with their physical eyes. Once it was unleashed, it would have slashed the target, himself, and everything around him that was close by. During mid-swing, enough energy arose to cause collateral damage to everything around him, covering a whole 360. Even the air was pushing away those who were out of distance; the walls and buildings would suffer, cracking piece by piece until there was nothing but half of a building, half of a wall.
There is collateral damage, but those walls and buildings can be replaced and rebuilt. Those around would be safe if they moved, but they stay close and suffer. There would have been two different explosions due to Kagi's action; the objects he had thrown earlier would have detonated a second before everything was blown away by a shockwave. The blast did not serve to have a devastating effect on the likes of an Arrancar, but enough to keep them off balance or blinded. The entire back of Kagi's objective would have its body torn diagonally from the left waist to the right shoulder.
Would that be enough to eradicate this intruder? Probably not. Kagi came in knowing full well that this arrancar did not come with full-on violence like the rest, so he could only assume he was a sly filth with something up his sleeve, but Kagi wasn't afraid to challenge it. Because it's simple, one shouldn't wait to strike till the iron is hot but make it hot by striking. Kagi took the initiative and created opportunities rather than passively waiting for the enemy. The key to victory lies in understanding the enemy and their weaknesses, allowing for a strategic strike, succeed or fail.
