As the blade on the back connected with his neck to pull and decapitate it, the look of shock could be seen in her eyes. Was she caught by surprise? Of course! What was she going to do? She had counted on ripping his head clean from his neck, yet it was not possible due to the strength of his hierro. Though the one in front of the Primera clone had a smirk hidden underneath her mask, the fact that she could catch him off guard meant the Gemelos Sonído had given her the upper hand; all thanks to the cero that made its initial landing on his chest.
The cero that left a scorch mark on his chest, and the greatest mistake he made in that moment was reaching for the wrong blade. As he reached to grab it, it would shimmer away, leaving him only to grasp the air around him. As the tip of her zanpakutō connected with his skin and hierro, his arrogance had allowed him to fall into a false sense of security to think that his hierro was going to stop her. She had been around long enough to know how to handle those with a strong defense, such as the Primera’s. For her, it was the single point of her zanpakutō that carried the force and precision necessary to pierce through the pinnacle of his hierro. For that split second, she had pressed against it, but in the other half of the second, the tip of her zanpakutō broke through, piercing into his right side. In combination with her force, weight and speed, she had also brought him down on his back and into the sand. Had it not been for the sand itself, the rest would see a sight of his right lung skewered at the end, blood rushing down the end of her blade, as she had broken through his hierro, flesh bones and organs to deliver a mortal blow.
“ Qué arrogancia.”
She pulled back just a bit before twisting inside, widening the hole in his body. Then the faint pink glow could be seen from his chest before it was released directly inside of the clone’s body, aiming for the left side to eviscerate his heart and what was left of his organs. Even if he were to push her off, the clone was a walking dead man. This gave her breathing room to think of what was going on with the others. She was surprised that the Segunda’s presence wasn’t felt—not in the reiatsu sense, but in the fact that he seemed like the type of man to release powerful attacks that would affect the whole area. She was expecting to dodge a few of his attacks, even going far enough to consider it both a hindrance and a blessing to use against the clones. That being said, she was glad that he wasn’t going to affect the area with his gravitational abilities. She had made this assumption based on his reiatsu pulling in all that was around him. Luckily, she was far enough away at the time to avoid it.
What of the Tres Espada? What was she doing? Or the other clone of the primera was she going to have to fight it as well? Or was it only meant to be one clone at a time? Questions, questions, questions all will be answered in time for now she had to be on her guard for what might come.
